Distribution of Free Nutritious Meals Program at Educational Institutions in Cilegon
CILEGON, August 19, 2024 – In supporting the Indonesian Government and the Cilegon City Government Program, PT Sankyu Indonesia International, and the other industrial companies, is participating in the Pilot Project for the Free Nutritious Meals Program. This program is implemented in several schools in Cilegon City that aims to improve the nutritional intake of students.
As part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and as an expression of gratitude to the local community, PT Sankyu Indonesia International participated in distributing 766 packages of Free Nutritious Meals for two schools: 570 packages for MTS Nasyrul Ulum in Purwakarta District and 196 packages for SDN Gunung Sugih in Ciwandan District, Cilegon.
During the implementation of the nutritious meals program at MTS Nasyrul Ulum on Monday, August 19, 2024, the Director of PT Sankyu Indonesia International, H. Dedi Mufdi, in his speech reaffirmed the company’s commitment to support this government initiative.
“PT Sankyu is committed to support the Cilegon City Government’s program in carrying out the pilot project for distributing nutritious meals at those two schools location chosen by the government. PT Sankyu is pleased to be participated in this program, as this program has a positive impact on the community,” said H. Dedi Mufdi, the Director of PT Sankyu.
At a different event, during the award ceremony for 12 industrial companies that contributed to the success of the pilot project for providing free nutritious meals in Cilegon City on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, the Mayor of Cilegon, H. Helldy Agustian, SE, SH, MH., stated in his speech that the success of this free nutritious meals trial program is an indication of the strengthening partnership between the Cilegon City Government and the industrial companies. He also mentioned that the evaluation report of this program had been submitted to the Presidential Advisory Council and the National Resilience Council.
On the same occasion, Department Manager of PT Sankyu Indonesia International, H. Razid Chaniago, explained that “this is an excellent program and we sincerely appreciate the award given to us by the Mayor of Cilegon. We are proud and pleased, and we hope the government will effectively carry on this program in the future,” he said amidst the activities.
