‘One Day Sport Tournament’: A Festivity of Togetherness and Sportsmanship

Nurturing a spirit of togetherness and collaboration among employees is the key to the success of PT Sankyu Indonesia International

CILEGON – In Celebration of its 50^th Anniversary, PT Sankyu Indonesia International hosted a One Day Sport Tournament featuring Football and Badminton Competitions and accompanied by a charity event for orphans. The participants of this event were the employees from all job sites of PT Sankyu Indonesia International.

This event took place at Krakatau Steel Stadium in Cilegon on Sunday (June 23, 2024) and was attended by the President Director of PT Sankyu Indonesia International, Ikuo Morino, with the management teams of PT Sankyu Indonesia International and PT Sankyu Logistic Indonesia.

The event was inaugurated with a speech from Ikuo Morino, the President Director of PT Sankyu Indonesia International. In his speech, he outlined three reasons that have enabled PT Sankyu Indonesia International to endure and grow its business over the past 50 years. “Firstly and foremost, every employee in all job sites has dedicated their hard work for the company. Secondly, we have successfully adapted to challanges and changes. Thirdly, the Indonesian and Japanese employees have cultivated their trust and collaboration. However, we should not let ourselves become complacent with our 50 years of accomplishments; we need to continue striving to develop our company,” he said.

Dedi Mufdi, the Director of PT Sankyu Indonesia International, also delivered his speech during the event. He stated that 50 years became the golden age of PT Sankyu Indonesia International which has emerged as a leading company in Indonesia, thriving due to the discipline and high performance of all the employees.

“PT Sankyu Indonesia International has reached its 50-year milestone, and as management, we express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering dedication, discipline, and exceptional performance of all our employees. By conducting the SANKYU UNIQUE business model that combines Plant Engineering, Logistic Services, and Operational Support, PT Sankyu Indonesia International has emerged as one of Indonesia’s leading companies,” he stated. He also emphasized that PT Sankyu Indonesia International has reached its 50-year milestone due to the strong trust from the customers and the unwavering support from all partners, which has enabled the company to effectively implement the SANKYU UNIQUE model for the customers.

The participants of football and badminton tournament in the One Day Sport Tournament represent a diverse group of employees from all job sites of PT Sankyu Indonesia International: the Head Office & CLC, Jakarta Construction, Cilegon Branch Office, Cilegon Construction, Cilegon Logistics, ASC Insite, KOS Insite, KNSS Insite, MCCI Insite and SLI.

The One Day Sport Tournament, in celebration of PT Sankyu Indonesia International’s 50^th Anniversary, was more than just a competition – it was a moment to strengthen bonds and build a spirit of unity, as mentioned by the Tournament Chairman, Eris Kadarisman, stated that “our employees across all the job sites joined in the football and badminton matches, but what truly matters is how these games ignite the togetherness and uphold sportsmanship. While we compete, the ultimate goal remains unity and solidarity.”

In addition, on the same day, as part of its corporate social responsibility, PT Sankyu Indonesia International showed their dedication by providing support to orphans, specifically the children of former employees who have passed away, through donations in the form of financial aid and school supplies.
