JAKARTA – PT Sankyu Indonesia International successfully held the grand celebration of its 50th anniversary at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom, Jakarta (August 6, 2024). The event was attended by hundreds of guests, featuring top executives from Sankyu Inc. Japan and Sankyu SEA Holdings, the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia, valued clients, and business partners.
The event commenced with a series of welcoming speeches delivered by Kimikazu Nakamura (President & COO of Sankyu Inc.), Ikuo Morino (President Director of PT Sankyu Indonesia International), representatives from the Embassy of Japan and the customers.
Embracing the theme “Grow Together To The Best Future,” PT Sankyu Indonesia International’s 50th Anniversary celebration became a powerful moment for employees to renew their dedication and passion for excellence in the years ahead. In his closing speech, Kimihiro Nakamura, President & COO of Sankyu Inc., inspired the audience by declaring, “… to all PT Sankyu Indonesia International employees, wherever you may be, let’s remain united here for the next 50 years… LET’S KEEP THE SPIRIT ALIVE!!”
Ikuo Morino, President Director of PT Sankyu Indonesia International, expressed that, on behalf of all employees, he extends sincere appreciation to all clients and business partners of PT Sankyu for their collaboration over the past 50 years.

The 50th anniversary celebration of PT Sankyu Indonesia International was a lively event, featuring an engaging lineup of activities. The festivities began with an impressive performance by Nusantara Dance, elegantly combining traditional and contemporary dance styles. This was followed by an exclusive hand screening ceremony, personally conducted by Kimihiro Nakamura, Chairman & COO Sankyu Inc.
The event continued with a compelling 10-minute video that took the audience on a journey through the 50-year legacy of PT Sankyu Indonesia International and its tireless efforts to provide outstanding service to its clients and business partners.
The event then shifted into a more relaxed atmosphere with a lively Gala Dinner. A stunning Food Parade and an assortment of delectable dishes enriched the pleasant evening for the guests. They relished the delicious cuisine while engaging in conversations, accompanied by the harmonious sounds of traditional Indonesian music.
The event was further enlivened by the dynamic signing ceremony for the CSR initiative focused on Mangrove Planting. This impactful partnership was formed between Yayasan KEHATI, represented by Executive Director Riki Frindos, and PT Sankyu Indonesia, represented by President Director Ikuo Morino. The ceremony was witnessed by Kimihiro Nakamura, Chairman & CEO of Sankyu Inc. This collaboration highlights PT Sankyu Indonesia International’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
Dewi Gita’s captivating performance also brought the grand celebration of PT Sankyu Indonesia International’s 50th anniversary to a delightful close. Her melodious voice mesmerized the audience, encouraging them to sing along and dance in the joyous atmosphere.
